Reagan Adams

Reagan’s aim is to help every person achieve their full potential. This often involves overcoming barriers and helping them to develop better relationships with themselves and others. Having completed a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Reagan is able to work with a wide range of presenting problems, and is skilled at adapting therapy to meet the needs of individual people, their unique circumstances and their own understanding of what is affecting them.
Reagan has experience in the following therapeutic approaches: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing and can assist in a range of areas including depression, panic attacks, excessive worries / generalized anxiety, social anxiety, pain management, substance abuse / dependence and problem gambling.
Reagan is committed to empowering people to achieve healthy and balanced lives and most importantly to assist people achieve their goals whatever they may be.

May was originally trained as a pharmacist, and had industry experience in both hospital and community pharmacy settings. Her interests shifted to academia where she taught medical students at the Faculty of Medicine at both Bond University and Griffith University. She still maintains her medical knowledge and pharmacist qualifications through regular Continuing Medical Education programs and industry involvement.

May up-skilled in the area of Management and completed her Master of Business Administration in Bond University. As the Operations Manager at The Shrink Group, she oversees both clinical and administrative operations.

Claire Pryor

Applied Behaviour Analysis

Claire has completed a four-year degree in a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours at Griffith University and has undertaken additional training in Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Claire is passionate about improving client wellbeing and understands that every client brings with them their own unique circumstances, needs and goals. Claire is very client-orientated in her approach and enjoys tailoring treatments to best suit each client.

Claire is dedicated to continuously growing and expanding her skill set as a clinician to provide the best care and evidence-based practice she can for her clients.

On sunny weekends, Claire enjoys spending time outdoors in nature but on rainy days she is more inclined to get cosy at home with a good book.

Allied Health Assistant

Georgia O'Connor

Georgia is a current Occupational Therapy student that is very committed and excited to begin her journey as an Allied Health Assistant at The Shrink Academy. She is dedicated to enabling opportunities for individuals and their families to engage in daily activities that they find meaningful and purposeful.

Georgia’s experience in Occupational therapy begins at university, with most experience in young children and adolescent therapy from placements and previous work. She has engaged in school and group settings, and has experience in assisting therapists with conducting assessments and interventions. Georgia has led social groups with children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).

Georgia feels strongly about approaching therapy with a family and client-centred focus, with interests in enabling independence in individuals, sensory processing, emotional regulation, social skills, and fine and gross motor skills. Georgia endeavours to provide therapy that is both fun and engaging for the individual and their family, while providing therapy that is realistically able to be completed in various environments.

Georgia’s passion for helping young children to young adults increases every day. Georgia believes in a balanced lifestyle approach and engages in well-being regularly, whether it be reading, running, meditating or yoga.

Clinical Psychologist

Marise Fallon

Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons)
Masters in Clinical Psychology
Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS)

Marise is a clinical psychologist who has worked in public and private clinics across three states. Marise loves her work as a psychologist, is passionate about supporting people to reach their full potential and enjoys working with children and families, adolescents and adult clients.

Marise uses evidence-based practice to support clients with anxiety, depression, stress, ASD, ADHD, adjustment disorder, low self-worth, sleep difficulties, and other emotional and behavioural issues. Meeting and appreciating each person for who they are and tailoring a treatment program to suit each individual’s needs, strengths and weaknesses are key tenets of her practice.

With a passion for mindfulness-based therapies, Marise incorporates a range of approaches in her clinical practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Positive Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support.

In her spare time Marise enjoys spending time at the beach and at her home in the bush.

Isabelle Gros

Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (UQ)
Master of Professional Psychology (USQ)

Isabelle is a Provisional Psychologist who completed her undergraduate honours degree at the University of Queensland and masters degree at the University of Southern Queensland. Isabelle is passionate about supporting people to reach their full potential.

Isabelle's background with the NDIS makes her a great addition to the team as she brings a wealth of experience and interest in working with children and families, in particular children who present with complex needs or diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Defecit Hyperactive Disorder and Intellectual Impairment Disorder.

Isabelle can speak fluent French, enjoys travelling, the great outdoors, staying active and volunteering for surf life saving. She also has a passion for animals and nature.

Provisional Psychologist

Tahnee Serone

Bachelor of Psychological Science (Griffith)
Psychology Honours (SCU)

Tahnee is a Provisional Psychologist whom completed both an undergraduate psychological science and psychology honours degree. Tahnee is enthusiastic and passionate about wellbeing, and since high school has procured an innate awareness that helping people to reach their full potential was her calling in life.

Throughout her studies, Tahnee has found working alongside a wide variety of individuals to be a rewarding experience and has formed a keen interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Tahnee is a local to this area having grown up on the Kingscliff Tweed Coast. In her spare time, Tahnee focuses on her creativity and love for adventure. Tahnee enjoys pottery with friends and family as well as enjoying weekend get-a-ways in her self-renovated van.
