Marise is a clinical psychologist who has worked in public and private clinics across three states. Marise loves her work as a psychologist, is passionate about supporting people to reach their full potential and enjoys working with children and families, adolescents and adult clients.
Marise uses evidence-based practice to support clients with anxiety, depression, stress, ASD, ADHD, adjustment disorder, low self-worth, sleep difficulties, and other emotional and behavioural issues. Meeting and appreciating each person for who they are and tailoring a treatment program to suit each individual’s needs, strengths and weaknesses are key tenets of her practice.
With a passion for mindfulness-based therapies, Marise incorporates a range of approaches in her clinical practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Positive Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support.
In her spare time Marise enjoys spending time at the beach and at her home in the bush.
